Inhabit your body with an attitude of healing and fierce love! Whether you are in treatment, in remission or somewhere in-between, this series is for you. You do not need yoga experience or a "yoga body" to enjoy and benefit from this class!!
Studies have shown that practicing mindful yoga can reduce cancer-related fatigue, relieve stress and improve immune response. Each class will include active poses, breathing techniques, and meditation. Through these practices, we will work with our habits of mind, body, and heart to become more connected to our daily lives and empowered in the choices we make. Moving slowly, you will increase mobility, strength, and balance. Breathwork and meditation practices will deepen your ability to stay centered and fluid throughout life's challenges.
Come practice in community! This class is a lovely way to care for yourself and reset after a demanding work week. All ages and abilities are welcome.
